Volkswagen - We Have a Problem!
Almost $600 million dollars in Tennessee taxpayer money was given to Volkswagen to construct a production plant here in Hamilton County.
Unfortunately, our state negotiators gave this money to VW with no strings attached. In other words, the state of Tennessee gave VW $600
million and did not insist that they use Tennessee contractors and Tennessee workers to build the plant!

With an unemployment rate that is one of the highest in the nation, you would have thought that our state and local politicians
would have been looking out for their own workers. After all, it was their tax dollars that were given to VW!
