More Out-of-State Contractors on the Job at VW Plant

Out-of-state contractors, even foreign contractors, are doing a lot of the work at the VW Plant in Chattanooga.
Here is a list of some of the out-of-state, and foreign, contracotrs who have performed work, or are performing work right now, on the Volksawagen assembly plant project at Enterprise South in Chattanooga, TN:
- C.P. Buckner - North Carolina
- AAR Sheet Metal - North Carolina
- Gardner Watson - Florida
- Precision Concrete - Georgia
- Dixie Steel Erectors - Georgia
- W.J. O'Neil - Michigan
- Duncan Machinery Movers - Kentucky
- Capsco Fire Protection - Alabama
- Eisenmann - Germany
- Durr - Germany
- RIMSA - Poland
In addition to these disturbing facts, an investigation by several local Tennessee building trades unions has uncovered the fact that there are workers who have worked, or are currently working on the VW plant project from the following countries:
- Mexico
- Honduras
- El Salvador
- Guatemala
- Nicaraugua
- Venezuela
- Argentiina
- Poland
